Styles are the fastest way to format a document, once you get the hang of using the basic styles at are already set up for you in Microsoft Word, you can move onto create templates for your law firm that will save everyone on your team hours per week!  

  1. Select (highlight) the text that you wish to change.
  2. If not already selected, click on the “Home” tab on your ribbon.
  3. In the “Styles” section, click the style you wish to apply to the selected section.
    1. Note: If you want to see more styles, click the more drop-down arrow found bottom right of style options.
